Supply Chain Manager - Manufacturing

Our client is a leading provider of laboratory solutions for a range of industires. They are seeking a Supply Chain Manager to work in their operations team. This will start as a contract positions and move into a permanent position.

Requirements

* At least 10 years professional experience

* At least 3-4 years experience in strategic procurement

* German spoken and written

* English written and spoken

* Knowledge : National and international supply market

* PC and SAP R3 experience

The aim of the position

* Central interface between R & D and suppliers for all procurement-related tasks , activities and questions

* Transmits full responsibility for the coordination and the execution of all procurement activities for the prototype phase and zero series up to series Finished product (M2 -M6 ) , services are included with

* Provides an efficient, cost one and a timely and quality-oriented material availability ensures that meets the demands of all Milestones justice

* The know- how of the supplier is efficient and used in early times of development

* The procurement market , the suppliers and the ERP master data are processed and currently documented

* New suppliers , it is based on the local and global processes to consider and allow

* Preparation , processing and visualization of data and indicators for the assigned material categories and your suppliers

Tasks

* Independent processing and procurement of all materials and services within the defined shopping and Quality Policy

* Planning and ensuring the supply of materials , optimizing availability, inventory turnover , quality and price

* Ensuring the efficient management of Purchasing administration

* Monitoring and enforcement of the agreed delivery dates and avoid faulty parts

* Obtaining and managing quotes

* Capture and maintain the purchasing master data

* Monthly inventory control according to average inventory and annual stock turnover target

* Maintenance and development of procurement markets and suppliers

* Control of supplier invoices with deviations from order

* Stand-alone negotiation and conclusion of procurement contracts , CDA `s development agreements , contracts and framework agreements tool

* Creation and maintenance of procurement, logistics and packaging concept

* Establish and maintain geeignter lists and tables at all times the current Overview , on the means of the responsibilities activities , play (such as cross-country skiers ) .

* Proactive approach is inspired by the bring- and obligation to collect , coordinate , asks for , monitored and calls on whenever needed ;

* reports to timely, targeted and solution- oriented

* Support and strategic development of the allocated product groups

* Holiday representation within the team Supply Management and SCM projects

* Material availability , quantity, inventory turnover , quality and price

* Independent planning , coordination, organization and implementation of efficient and self-control of its functions and duties in accordance with the guidelines

* Immediate information of the affected agencies and the group leader and the project manager for schedule delays or technical problems, its tasks and assignments

* Jointly responsible for the achievement of the project , departmental and company goals (prompt delivery , material costs, inventory turnover )
