Description
Need 2 testers for 6 months only to perform WWAN and other handheld wireless components. Assist Test & Validation engineers in the validation of new and existing products/platforms. Perform validation tests from written and/or verbal instructions. Collect data and publish test reports according to departmental standards. Perform benchmark tests. Aide in the investigation of possible causes of problems. Additional responsibilities may include: porting test cases to new tool, releasing test plans into Agile, ordering equipment
SKILLS:
- Either an A.S. with 4 years' experience OR Technical School with 6 years related experience
- Working knowledge of networks and networking principles
- Hands on experience with wireless networks: 802.11a/b/g, Bluetooth, CMDA and/or GPRS
- Familiarity with operation of PDA devices including configuration, synchronization and applications
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc)
