Description
Adecco IT is currently looking for an experienced IT Change Manager on behalf of its client, a major global company in the Healthcare sector located in Basel (Switzerland).
Project Scope:
The RNC Configuration/Deployment Manager will report to Informatics Project Manager and work with Technical and Test Leads to define, document and manage configuration requirements and standards for code management. You will design and implement measures in the area of Configuration/Change/Release Management and processes.
Major Duties:
- Ensure proper usage of the version control system (Subversion) and the code is checked in with descriptive comments.
- Works closely with Development team leads, TPMs and SMs who need to enforce that standards are followed
- Monitors how code management is performed
- Document and communicate standards to relevant stakeholders
- Single point of contact for all changes into Non-Production environments
- Ensure that all aspects of deployments, both technical and non-technical, are covered
- Coordinate deployment communications, preparations and confirm deliverables ie release notes, IQ/OQs
- Ensure that the system meets informatics quality standards
- Reduce production operational issues at the outset of production releases
- Minimize impacts for production releases
- If needed you will allow recovery actions to take place in a controlled and planned manner ie the proper rollback procedures are followed to restore the environment in the previous state.
- Provide control for situations where concurrent changes are occurring
- Coordinate all project teams associated with the current deployment
- Facilitate team communication to ensure that all deployment components are implemented in due time
- Proactively suggest activities to improve process, delivery and quality
- Establish communication standards/processes between Deployment Management and other teams
- Proactively address and plan long term hardware and software resource needs of the team.
Miscellaneous:
- Experience in the Pharma sector is a clear advantage.
- Code Management
- Hands on experience with Version control Systems (Subversion)
- IQ/OQ/PQ experience is an asset (Validation and CSV for Drug manufacturing)
- This role requires flexibility to work extended hours to meet the needs of a global project.
- Strong communication skills
- Fluent English mandatory
