Statistical Programmer
MISSION DESCRIPTION:
Statistical Programmer Consultant for Non-Clinical StatisticsR&D department ( VDD Biostatistics)
* Macro Programming and statistical application development supporting statistical analysis for statisticians and for non-statisticians.
* Responsible of programming quality system ( procedures,compliance, documentation and traceability, versioning,continuous improvement).
* Management of the IT platform (hardware and software) of the department, liaise with the IT departement
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Accountable and reference for all macros & software activities.
* Development, production and maintaining of macros & software.
* Ensure the applications and programs development are alignedwith Guidelines (ICH, FDA, EMA)
* Ensure reliability of the outputs generated by theprograms and the quality system. nsure availability, traceability and troubleshooting of the programming solutions forthe statisticians and non-statisticians users.
* Ensure management of software licenses supported by the department are up to date (versions, users )
* Ensure support and troubleshooting for end up users of the statistical applications.
* Manage the internal IT platform
* Ensure programming support for the Stat team.
* Ensure a back-up is trained and available when needed.
PREREQUISITES:
Education:
University degree in Science, with a complementary diploma (D.E.A. orMaster in applied statistics).
Knowledge:
* Good programming skills and statistical knowledge ashe/her would need to work in autonomy.
* Ability to define the specifications and work in collaboration with the customers (statisticians and non-statisticians)
* Rigor, discipline and excellent organization skills
Experience:
Experienced (at least 5 years) as a statistician and statistical programmer in a Pharmaceutical statistical department with extended expertise in VBA for Microsoft applications (Excel, Word), SASand R programming.
