On behalf of our client in the Life Science industry, Harvey Nash is looking for a IMACD Support Specialist for a 12 + month project in Switzerland.

The IMACD Support Specialist is responsible for the Installation, Move, Add, Change and Disposal of Roche standard Hardware for end users. The goal is to provide a strongly customer focused service and to support the End User Support Teams in terms of cross functional processes and communication.

  • You are responsible for
  • Working with HPSM ticket system (track, document, implement)
  • Allocating and preparing hardware for deployment
  • Delivering and installing IT-infrastructure (new user, bulk requests)
  • Reclaiming hardware process
  • Handling of the repair process
  • Inventory management (stock rooms, DSMT)
  • Requesting HW via ARIBA
  • Acting as a point of contact for HW Pool customers and service providers

    Requirements

  • 2 + years of successful technical experience in a desk side support position or similar
  • High school diploma and informatics education (SIZ ), MCP - MCSE certification is an advantage
  • Excellent technical skills for analysing and troubleshooting problems in a complex customer environment
  • PC Hardware and Periphery. Windows Client Technology, Desktop and Productivity tools and experience with at least one Ticketing tool
  • Strong communication abilities and customer focused behaviour
  • Experience with ITIL (Foundation) is required
  • Technical writing for documentation
  • Very good English and German skills are required (written and spoken)
