On behalf of our client in the Life Science industry, Harvey Nash is looking for a IMACD Support Specialist for a 12 + month project in Switzerland.
The IMACD Support Specialist is responsible for the Installation, Move, Add, Change and Disposal of Roche standard Hardware for end users. The goal is to provide a strongly customer focused service and to support the End User Support Teams in terms of cross functional processes and communication.
You are responsible for Working with HPSM ticket system (track, document, implement) Allocating and preparing hardware for deployment Delivering and installing IT-infrastructure (new user, bulk requests) Reclaiming hardware process Handling of the repair process Inventory management (stock rooms, DSMT) Requesting HW via ARIBA Acting as a point of contact for HW Pool customers and service providers Requirements
2 + years of successful technical experience in a desk side support position or similar High school diploma and informatics education (SIZ ), MCP - MCSE certification is an advantage Excellent technical skills for analysing and troubleshooting problems in a complex customer environment PC Hardware and Periphery. Windows Client Technology, Desktop and Productivity tools and experience with at least one Ticketing tool Strong communication abilities and customer focused behaviour Experience with ITIL (Foundation) is required Technical writing for documentation Very good English and German skills are required (written and spoken) Are you available immediately, have experience working within a Life Science company?
