Senior Business Analyst for Point-of-Sales/ATM

Project environment

The global Swiss bank is part of an interbank project which aims to reduce the existing ATM software landscape to one unified software package. The existing software infrastructure and interfaces in the Point-of-Sale/ATM area need to be adapted and/or fully renewed.

Role Description

A Business Analyst works with experienced colleagues out of the BA channel team and will be closely coached. The candidate contributes to the design and documentation of business requirements of the solutions in this area, covering front ends user interfaces but also the backend side of the applications.

Tasks

• Build-out of the system documentation strengthening of the systematic traceability from business request to module function.
• Communication with Business and IT stakeholders.

Requirements

Must:
• Independent, systematic and structured way of working (e.g. Use Cases, Activity Diagrams, UML)
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Initiative acting and dedicated commitment
• Excellent organizational skills
• High awareness of quality and deadlines
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Flair for 'diving' into existing solutions
• Fluent English and German

Nice to have:
• Profound understanding of Point-of-Sales/ATM or similar systems/channels
• Experience in Requirements Engineering

Technical skills

• 5+ years of experience as Business Analyst
• Experience in banking and/or with POS systems/modules
