CDC Operations Manager, Freelance, Basel

A leading pharmaceutical company are currently seeking an CDC Operations Manager to work on studies at a key location in Basel. This is a global pharmaceutical company with presence around Europe, a track record of making a real difference to individuals' lives. This is a company of heritage, and prestige. They are well-known for their ability in pioneering science. They operate an open-minded environment, particularly within this collaborative oncology study team, where you will be empowered with the relevant decision-making authority, but will equally be accountable for your actions and responsibilities. This is an international, English-speaking environment.

This 12 month contract carries the following responsibilities: manage operational aspects of clinical projects, whilst working closely with the Regional Heads ICRO and local ICRO Managers. Additionally, cooperate with CTT and provide them with general knowledge. Furthermore, you will determine external clinical trial costs, as well as monitoring internal ICRO, whilst using your negotiating skills to set trial costs with the CPOs. What is more, you will be responsible for distributing of trial data and in acceptable quality together with the Regional Heads ICRO and the CPOs. You will also work with DM / ICRO Managers to recognize probable quality issues and put into operation actions to resolve them.

This is an English speaking, international environment where you will be contributing to studies that have real consequences to global healthcare. You should have a degree in Life Science/Nursing or comparable, with proficiency in English, both written and oral. Further, the ideal candidate should have at least 4 years of experience in project management and clinical development. Knowledge in GCP (good clinical Practice and ICH is required. Experience in regulatory and local requirements is a plus, having worked within multicultural and international clinical trials, working independently and together in a team complete your profile.
