Description
My Client an Investment Bank based in Brussels, requires a Release Manager.
Function Description:
-
Manage the day to day activities for an individual release in all its life cycle
phases: plan release, build & design release, test & verify release and deploy release;

Create, validate and follow up the full release planning;

Be accountable for the quality of the implementation of releases in her/his release portfolio scope by ensuring adherence to service level agreements and reducing the operational risks;

Determine risks and dependencies in relation with other releases, based on collected project impact information;

Define & manage continuously the needed components and concerned parties in the release management tool;

Assemble QA & PROD runbooks and make sure that these are validated by all involved parties;

Escalate blocking issues to related authorities;

Follow up & report about the release(s) roll-out in production;

Formalize the closure of the release(s);

Act as point of contact in her/his release portfolio scope for both customer and IT organization.
Education:
Bachelor/Master in IT or equivalent by experience

Experience:

Business Experience

Good knowledge of applications and related architecture linked to Web Front End technologies (Java, Windows, .NET)

ITIL

French - fluent
Dutch or NL fluent
English - Good knowledge
