Seeking a Ruby on Rails developer (Telecommute option).

Title: Ruby on Rails developer
Location: Telecommute (Position will eventually be based out of North Scottsdale, AZ- near Kierland MALL)

We’re looking for a Ruby on Rails developer to join our client’s product development team. The ideal person for this role will have a strong background in building web applications, with a mind towards scalability and maintainable code. You desire to work on a small-team and thrive in a dynamic environment.

Skills & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or relevant industry experience strongly desired

Good knowledge of Ruby on Rails, Agile & Test Driven development
Comfortable doing full-stack web development

Passion to own applications end-to-end

In-depth knowledge of scalability, systems engineering and design patterns

Talent for producing well documented, well tested, and well factored code

Ability to analyze and optimize non-performant areas of code

Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
