Embedded software engineer for a key client in the West Sussex area.

The business is a growing medical devices company, specifically designing devices for use in neurosurgery and cancer research.
Having spoken with the company they are really excited with the expansion they are now having, and they are determined to get enthusiastic, hands on engineers on board who can really buy into this growing company.
The role will enable the successful candidate to have good exposure within the company, playing a hands on role, but with the drive to one day project lead and potentially enter management.
There really is no limit to the scope of this position, it will be whatever you make it. With the growth the company is experiencing, there is nor reason why successful candidates could take a hands off role if they wanted too, and enter the management side of things, leading their own team through project development, including conception, design and testing.
This offshoot of the organisation are looking to explore new markets and the position will involve you managing your own time and projects. The role will also allow you to become a point of reference for the more junior members of the team and eventually move into really senior roles, potentially into the technical director bracket.
They are looking for candidates to have the following expertise:
- Embedded C/C++
- Experience within the Medical industry
- Safety Critical Systems
- Micro-controllers 8, 16 and 32 bit
- Real Time Operating Systems
