Windows 2008 Server Support Engineer with strong Active Directory, SCCM and Patching experience is immediately soguht by leading global financial services client based in Berkshire. Candidates applying should be able to interview and start on an immediate basis.
Essential Skills
- Working knowledge of a windows server environment
- Use of Incident and Change management tools (ServiceNOW)
- Solid experience of various versions of the MS Windows operating system including 2003, 2008, 2012, enterprise etc.
- Experience of ancillary tools such as SCCM and Ops Manager
- MS ISA and Websense web filtering
- KVM switch technologies
- Anti-Virus, including McAfee EPP & HIPS
- Server room technologies and understanding of comms room layouts and builds
- In depth knowledge of Active Directory in multi-site, multi-domain environments
- Full MS Office suite including Visio and Project
- Familiarization with Sarbanes-Oxley (S0X) and Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI/DSS)
- Strong networking knowledge.
- Strong awareness of server/network security standards.
Desirable
- Any knowledge of F5 load balancers an advantage
- Write Technical Development summary documents, review specifications documents
