Description
Looking for a talented SAP QM consultant to work with us on our SAP COA (Certificate of Analysis) Standardization project. Currently, company is utilizing the customized SAP COA program to generate the COAs. One of the goals for the SAP COA project is to generate COAs using the standard SAP COA functions. In addition, the QM master data in SAP will be reviewed and updated to align with the specifications and standards of company processes.
Qualification:
Functional consultant represented by the vendor must be an expert in SAP QM and a business savvy.
Functional consultant must demonstrate leadership in SAP QM and ability to understand and translate the needs of the company's business to SAP process design. Also she/he must be able to effectively communicate SAP concepts, processes and transactions to business users to help them understand how they will use the system to support the business. She/he must demonstrate initiative to resolve issues, answer questions, and provide advice to the project team as needed.
Functional consultant must have at least two full life cycles of SAP QM implementation experience and possess excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
Functional Consultant Responsibilities
Functional consultant will work under the direction of the project manager and collaboratively with the project team to:
Work with the project team in configuring the SAP R/3 system to meet business needs.
Consult with and provide solutions to the team members on SAP QM module functionality, functional design specifications, configuration, best practices, and structured/repeatable test procedures as well as all aspects of the SAP system implementation and production support when needed.
Work with the project team to specify the business process requirements, configurations, and development needs to meet the business requirements.
Work with the project team in performing unit and integrated testing.
Develop end-user documentation, testing scenario documentation, training materials, and program support.
Train the project team with any new functionality.
Ensure knowledge transfer from the consultant to the project team.
