Prepare various sections of the annual Form 10-K and quarterly Form 10-Q for filing with the SEC, including XBRL for financials and footnotes. Prepare schedules and supporting documentation for various other financial filings and internal management use. Research technical accounting questions and analyze various issues to determine the appropriate accounting treatment. Assist with the interpretation and implementation of new accounting and financial reporting standards issued by the FASB, EITF, SEC, and other standard-setting agencies. Prepare technical accounting memos, emails, and presentations to communicate conclusions and educate others. Maintain and update documentation related to company accounting policies. Document and maintain procedures specific to financial reporting.

Prepare disclosures included in the annual Form 10-K and quarterly Form 10-Q for the SEC. This includes financial statements, footnotes, management's discussion & analysis, business background, and other sections. Select appropriate tags to prepare assigned financial statement and footnote sections in XBRL format. Prepare various other schedules and support for SEC filings, earnings releases, and internal management. Assist in maintaining Sox documentation related to financial reporting. Provide information to external auditors.

Monitor and analyze pending accounting and disclosure guidance from the FASB, EITF, and SEC related to assigned topics. Assist in determining potential impacts on company and its subsidiaries. Assist with the interpretation and implementation of newly issued accounting guidance. Develop communications to educate others throughout the company on the impacts of new and pending accounting rules and the appropriate accounting treatment for transactions related to new implementations.

Research technical accounting questions posed by individuals from various departments at all levels, including senior management. Document conclusions and prepare communications in the form of memos, emails, and presentations to educate others at all levels on the impacts of conclusions. Train/educate employees across the company as necessary to ensure that transactions are accounted for and disclosed correctly.

Document accounting policies on assigned topics for all of company, and assist in maintaining an updated, accurate database of accounting policies based on the appropriate GAAP guidance. Work with accountants from various work groups to make appropriate changes to policies and procedures. SKILLS:
