Description
An understanding of the WebFOCUS language and dialogue manager. Also mas/acx files, parameter pages (including some JavaScript, HTML, CSS), understanding joins, drills, file appends in reports.
- Knowledge of WebFOCUS Business Intelligence Dashboard (BID) ie how to access, use domain tree and run standard reports and reporting objects from the domain tree.
- Knowledge of Report assistant, Reporting objects, My Reports, Shared and Prompted reports.
- Knowledge of Reportcaster, ie how to amend schedules, tasks and distribution lists, how to run and check Reportcaster logs.
- Knowledge of Managed Reporting (Applet) interface for creation of domain folder.
- Knowledge of Reporting Server, creating application and changing application path, checking jobs that are running.
- Knowledge of Ultraedit would be useful.
- Previous experience of WebFOCUS migration work would be beneficial.
