My client is currently undertaking a Pan-European Transformation Programme and seek an Interim Application Operations Director to lead in the midst of IT consolidation, strengthening of capabilities and delivering a business transformation programme.

Responsibilities include regional program management, development and support of Oracle ERP applications and infrastructure functions such as PC Services, Networks, and Telecom. Strategically you will oversee System Improvement Plan and Idea Generation for Implementation, Identification of new SLAs and Implementation post 3 months SLO review. You will work on cost reduction initiatives by removing IT inefficiencies & Process optimization. Lead and manage system utilization and capacity planning (sizing for the hardware & software for future growth). Align AO processes with demand management, ADM and QA for seamless inter-functional working within IT. Build interface with PMO for sharing various statistical parameters to be tracked and reported for production environment performance. Ensure high confidence and customer satisfaction amongst business stakeholders. Define, own and implement quality and evaluation framework (including performance KPIs) for IT vendor partners. Manage IT release calendar planning in close co-ordination with DM, ADM and infra ops teams. Contribute to IT strategy, architecture and budgeting processes.

The role is based in Amsterdam with regular European travel. Dutch or Flamish language is a clear plus.
