iSeries Architect/Consultant - Ghent, Belgium - English speaking.
(i/Series, i-Series, iSeries, i Series, iSeries Consultant, iSeries Architect, iSeries Infrastructure Architect, iSeries Infrastructure Consultant, Mainframe, VIO, HMC, WebSphere).
One of our blue chip clients is urgently looking for an iSeries Architect/Consultant.
To suit you will have the following profile:
- Excellent knowledge about i5/OS V7R1
- Experience in all OS-areas, like: backup & recovery (BRMS), security, performance, storage, network management
Familiar with:
- Virtualization, using VIO-server (management of storage & network connection through VIO-Servers)
- Power Server
- Enterprise Extender (communications to the Mainframe World)
Knowledge about HMC and Webshpere MQ
Fluent in English, both writing and speaking, Dutch is a plus.
Needs to be on-call, weekend coverage and travel are not required.
