A Brokerage/Proprietary Trading Firm in Chicago requires C# developers who have varying levels of development experience working in a trading environment. There are multiple positions open, each with their own focus and career paths.The following positions are currently open, and actively seeking applicants:
- Junior C++ Developer (Less than 5 Years experience)
- C++ Developer (5+ Years of experience)
- Quantitative Developer (8+ Years of experience)
- C# GUI Developer (5+ Years experience)
- C#/FIX Developer (5+ Years experience)
- C++ Development Lead (8+ Years development experience, 2+ years management experience)
Desired Skills and Experience
Essential skills:
- C++ any Python skills (for certain positions)
- Experience with FIX Protocol (for certain positions)
- Experience with C# and WPF (for certain positions)
- End to end experience of the project lifecycle
- Effective communication skills, both oral and written
- 5 years commercial experience in a banking environment considered. (unless otherwise stated)
- Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines in a rapidly changing environment
- Proven experience interacting directly with end users
Compensation varies on position. Junior employees can expect between $100,000-$130,000 on the base. Senior employees can expect $150,000 - $180,000 depending on prior experience
