Strong Developer C++ Java - Prop Trading firmA well renowned proprietary trading firm are looking for a strong Developer to work on their low latency sensitivity projects, including exchange connectivity and recoding systems.
You need to come from a pure development background and have worked on real-time systems. A strong educational background is important, as you will need to pick up new systems and perhaps new technologies. This is a fast paced environment, who pride themselves on hiring very strong technologists.
You will be designing and implementing a high-frequency trading platform, including collecting trades and quotes from exchanges around the world. You will be expected to optimize this platform by using network and systems programming, as well as other advanced techniques to minimize latency.
Skills
- strong background in data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming, preferably in C++ or Java
- very strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong educational background with excellent communication skills
