Web Developer Required 6 Month Contract Central Manchester…Web Developer required for a 6 month contract with my central Manchester client. You will be responsible for developing three sites for three of different clients so you must have experience of working on multiple sites at the same time.
Type: 6 Month Contract
Rate: £200 to £220 per day
Location: Central Manchester
Start Date: ASAP
Essential Skills:
- HTML5, CSS3 (inc. SASS or LESS) , JavaScript (inc. JQuery, JSON, AJAX) & front-end frameworks such as Foundation
- PHP (inc. the CodeIgniter framework)
- MySQL and database admin
- Developing in CMS's, including Expression Engine and Wordpress (Adobe CQ5 is a bonus!)
- Version Control & site deployment using Git
- Administration of Apache web servers using Plesk & Webmin
- Domain name administration
- Website performance, optimisation and security
- Experience of developing responsive websites
- An understanding of Information Architecture and UX
- An interest in or experience of developing mobile and web apps
Daily Duties:
You will be working with the existing lead designer helping them with the development of three client sites, all of these sites have been signed off by the client and are going to be sites seen by millions of people so this will be your chance to put your name on a site which will be seen and used all around the world.
