My client, a leading Government organisation requires an experienced Systems Administrator with experience in a Windows 2008 environment providing 3rd level support for infrastructure services.

A great opportunity to be a part of a dynamic team, with BAU and Project based work; responsible for managing and resolving service desk requests, assisting in the implementation of new and upgraded Microsoft technologies and other project based work.
Key skills & experience required include:-
- Demonstrated ability to design and deploy Microsoft server technologies in a large IT environment
- Strong working knowledge of Windows Server 2008
- Knowledge of Active Directory services, DNS, DHCP
- Strong client service delivery focus;
Highly desirable experience also includes:-
- Knowledge of SCCM and SCOM
- Knowledge of Hyper-V and Microsoft Virtual Machine Manager
- Experience with Lync
- Experience with Forefront Identity Manager or AD Federation Services
- VB Scripting, Powershell & automation skills;
- ITIL framework awareness
