The Client:
Applications are invited for the position of Mainframe Operator based in Dublin. Our financial services clients are urgently seeking someone to step into the role ASAP to contribute in maintaining Mainframe operations. This is a contract position that has the capacity to run as long as 12 weeks, with a view for an extension.
The Ideal Candidate:
The successful candidate will fit straight into the current Mainframe operating team under the management of the Operations Manager.
The ideal candidate will have 5yrs+ experience in:
- Mainframe production operations
- Batch operations
- Running files to clients
- Maintaining data sets
- Job scheduling/batch processing
- Understanding of basic TSO
