Chase Resourcing’s client, a multinational financial house is undertaking a project to replace their existing Payments system used throughout EMEA and NA with a new Payment Services solution. To facilitate this rollout, and future testing, candidates with the following skills/knowledge are sought:Position Responsibilities/Duties:
The candidate for this position will be responsible for the development of the MIS interfaces for SMBC’s Tokyo Head Office using IBM’s ETL tool Datastage. The candidate will be responsible for maintenance and support of the existing interfaces including investigation of issues and production troubleshooting. This position will be a key member in JRIA’s Interface Team and will support bank’s critical applications for Europe and North America.
Experience/Knowledge Requirements
MUST have DataStage parallel and server experience, preferably 8.x
5+ years of experience in DataStage 8.0/7.5
Experience with developing both server and parallel jobs running on a UNIX platform against relational databases such as Oracle, DB2, or SQL Server systems as source and target data environments
Experience working in all phases of a full project life cycle, including low-level Design
Strong knowledge of Unix Korn shell scripting
Strong knowledge of relational and dimensional database concept
Required Skills/Abilities
Excellent communication (oral & written) skills are a must.
Datastage 8.x
Oracle Databases 10g and 11g
Operating Systems: Unix & Windows 2003
Skills and Special Requirements
Occasional weekend and late night support for production support and migration
Must have quality team building skills, positive attitude, detail oriented, self motivated and strong project management skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
