About the position
We are currently looking for a mobile phone energy saving design expert to the terminal company, to take on the challenge to manage energy saving design requirements properly and help mobile phone products and solutions meet energy efficiency quality expectations from consumers and internal purpose. Initial contract will be 3-6 months contract, followed by extension. Location is Sweden. Occasional business trips may require.

You will work in an innovative energy saving design team and will be responsible for:
Industry mobile phone energy saving design best practice and GAP analysis, in order to provide improvement proposal.
Develop key mobile phone energy saving design technologies and solution.
Design, analyse and propose innovative approaches for power management analysis across HW/SW and cross layer power optimum solutions, evaluating various architectures and design tradeoffs.
Guide and perform energy saving design for key mainstream pilot mobile phone product.
Build communication and collaboration with other R&D departments, university professors, and technology experts. Create partnership and work an ecosystems dynamic environment.
The position will also include responsibility for training, as well as technical planning and reporting to high level managers.


Qualifications and experience
Rich experience and systematic awareness in energy saving for mobile phone, and while in 1or 2 single point has a very thorough and professional skills.

To be successful in this role the candidate should:
Strong background and Knowledge of SoC (CPU, GPU) architecture, OS software modules within mobile phone system software platforms and processor architecture
Have more than 8 years experience in system-level design and low energy power management in Mobile phone or Consumer products industry.
Knowledge and experience in high-speed performance and low-power architecture design.
Extensive experience with static and dynamic workloads and system performance analysis tools applied to power management.
A Bachelor Degree, Masters in computer science or equivalent background is required.
The candidate should have a high focus on delivering high quality work. The candidate should have a strong feeling and interest for development and to share experiences with others in the team and have a proven capability to pursue creative solutions. Prior experience from international and multicultural work is preferred. As we are a global company the candidate must be able to communicate fluently in English, both verbally and in writing.
Good social and networking skills to support teamwork in project groups as well as ability to work independently.
Good communication, documentation and presentation skills.
Well organised and structured.
