Contract Safety, Health & Environment Engineer - SHE - Edinburgh

Our client based in Edinburgh are looking for a SHE Manager to advise and implement Safety, Health and Environment requirements. The role will involve developing and monitoring Company Safety, Health and Environment plans to drive continual improvement and the implementation of formal processes to ensure management compliance with all legislation, codes of practice, ISO & OHSAS Standards etc.

Key requirements:

- Broad knowledge of SHE theory and practice
-IT literate
- Experience of Auditing to ISO/OHSAS standards
- Identifying & delivering training requirements
- Commercial Awareness

Evidence of the following may be required:

NEBOSH National Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety Management
Environmental Management Qualification (NEBOSH/IEMA)
Chartered Member of Institution of Occupational Safety & Health (CMIOSH)
Associate Member of the Institute of Environmental Management & Assessment (AIEMA)
Internal/ Lead Auditors Qualification )
