A unique opportunity has arisen for a Quality Systems Manager to join the Group Quality Assurance division for a market leading FMCG. Due to strict regulatory changes this market is coming under scrutiny to adhere to pharmaceutical and medical device GXP requirements, they need to hire a new Quality Manager with experience to implement new manager changes.

As the Quality Systems Manager you will:
  • Ensure that processes needed for the Quality Management System (QMS) are


established, implemented and maintained.
  • Report to the Quality Manager on the performance of the QMS and any need for improvement.
  • Ensure the Quality Management Systems are operating effectively across division to support the individuals and Business requirements.
  • Liaise with the external assessment body on all matters related to the external


accreditation process or other audit requirements.
  • Deliver and maintain a quality management system
  • Robust audit plans in place that mitigate internal and external compliance risks and identify improvement opportunities
  • Robust Document management system
  • Coaching, mentoring and training that leads to consistent messages across division to support a Quality management culture of employee involvement, continuous improvement and leadership.
  • Formal project management skills enable successful implementation of Quality standards/systems across division.
  • Robust and effective training system in place
  • Metrology management in place
  • Validation program in place


If you are interested in the position, you must have the following experience if you wish to apply:
  • Educated in a life science/ chemistry management
  • 10-15 years experience in quality management
  • Practical experience of running Corrective Action and Preventive Action (CAPA) process
  • Must have the right to work in theUKand QA regulations.
