Description
This role is responsible for medical devices and equipment transfer from concept (design) to manufacture (prototype) to product introduction.This is a Lead Mechanical Engineer position within drug delivery development projects providing expertise to all aspects of development.
Responsibilities Include:
- Design specifications
- Generation of concepts and layouts of systems
- Detailed design of components and products
- Preparation of technical reports
- Introduction into high volume production
Education and Experience:
- BSME or equivalent and 7+ years' practical experience in drug delivery device development. Related graduate degree a plus.
- A proven track record of design leadership on plastics and injection devices.
- A solid technical and practical knowledgebase in the medical device sector is essential for this role, including both design and manufacturing aspects.
