Description
Seeking a Senior R&D Mechanical Engineer.The ideal candidate should possess the following:
- BSME or equivalent with 6+ year's experience.
- MSME or equivalent with 4+ year's experience.
- Experience in Medical Device development is desirable.
- Familiarity and knowledge of regulatory guidance for Design Controls for Medical Devices including ISO 13485.
- Understanding and experience with design control procedures a plus.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
Project Management:
- Lead engineering projects of moderate complexity. Effectively communicate, facilitate, and organize project activities using team leadership qualities. Develop and manage project schedules.
Design:
- With guidance from senior engineering, designs products, processes, tooling and/or equipment that meet customer needs, technical design goals and regulatory/quality requirements.
Optimization, Analysis, Documentation, Systems, Presentations, and Training:
- Produce cost-effective, quality results within specifications, evaluate own and competitor products, ensure system requirements are met through documentation, explain technical information to management, conduct presentations and provide technical training for other employees.
