A fantastic public sector Institue require a Business Intelligence Specialist to maintain and support the Institutes Business Intelligence system. The main responsibilities of the position will be to complete MS SQL Administration tasks on Data Warehouse, Reporting and Analysis services; complete design, development and testing of new reporting requirements and provide 3rd line support to the Service Delivery Team.
Key Skills for the Business Intelligence Specialist;
- Solid SQL Server Administration
- Extensive experience in using SSIS/DTS packages to implement ETL processes.
- Experienced in data warehousing, with understanding of Kimball methodology and OLAP
- design.
- Strong SQL Server Analysis Services with working knowledge of MDX queries
- Good knowledge of Visual Basic 6 / .NET / C#
- A great team player with excellent communication and customer facing skills
- Previous Public Secotr experience is very highly regarded.
