Computer Futures are currently looking for Senior ASP.NET, MVC Developers to join a client based in Cardiff are to join a successful development team using Agile and Scrum.

You will be required to provide technical expertise to the team and organisation, sharing best practice, knowledge and skills through coaching and mentoring of peers. Help enforce quality standards, and act as deputy for the Team Leader when required.

Key Skills

Experience as a developer within the Microsoft.NET framework (preferably C#) is essential.

Experience in some or all of the following platforms and technologies is also essential:

a. Web applications (ASP.NET, MVC). CMS-based development exposure desirable (e.g. Sitecore).
b. Service-based technologies (WCF, web services)
c. Data-layer and transformation technologies (XML, XSLT, Entity Framework, BizTalk).

Client-side skills are desirable (e.g. jQuery, Angular.js/Knockout and also CSS)

Database exposure is desirable both traditional RDBMS (SQL Server) including SSIS and SSRS and NoSQL variants (e.g. Mongo).

Experience of Microsoft Visual Studio and TFS is desirable, as is coded UI tests (e.g. WATIN), web performance testing, Unit testing, IOC/Dependency Injection frameworks and Mocking tools.

Understanding of enterprise-scale development technologies and issues is desirable (e.g. SOA, testability, redundancy and scalability).

Scripting and automation skills are desirable (e.g. powershell) and also working with public cloud technologies (e.g. WindowsAzure, AWS)

The salary for this role can pay up to £45,000 and offers and excellent benefits package.
