SQL Database administrator - South Yorkshire - 12 month contractSQL Database administrator is required for 12 months by a large NHS trust to assist in the design and development of replacement databases utilising industry standard technologies and methodologies. This role has arisen due to the expansion of the team as they are undergoing a migration project in early 2014.
Type: 12 month contract
Rate: £200 to £250 per day - DOE
Location: South Yorkshire

Job description
You will be the most technical team member responsible for all areas of the SQL server environment including ongoing improvement of the existing databases, identifying potential issues and implementing performance tuning.
This is an exciting project for a SQL DBA with the migration of a PAS / EPR system and DTS / SSIS being the primary focus points.
