Visual Designer
Ai is looking for a Senior Designer to work on high-profile, platform design project for the Japanese market. Ideal candidates will be completely hands-on and enjoy working in a highly collaborative, agile process. This designer should be able to help bring a design and experience vision to life through beautifully designed features, functionality, interactions and UI details.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand and build upon the visual design vision and carry it through all aspects of the platform.
- Showcase exceptional design talent and an aesthetic that spans a broad range of projects including site, application and product design.
- Have the ability to simplify information information–visually and beautifully.
- Have a complete command of CS5 and a working knowledge of HTML and an understanding how comps translate to code.
- Leverage sophisticated information design skills and visual problem solving skills.
- Demonstrate solid UI design skills and attention to details.
- Be completely hands-on and collaborative. Partner with UX Designers and Technologies to think through and sketch ideas prior to creating finished designs.
- Collaborate with internal teams (design lead, tech, UX) to ensure the design vision is implementable and understood.
- Be comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile process and adapting and evolving designs through different phases of the project.
- Help lead specific Sprints/Epics while working under the guidance of the Visual Design Lead.
- Ensure quality and completion of all design deliverables from initial concepts through design.
- Maintain beautiful Photoshop and Illustrator files that are organized, well labeled and easy for developers to work with.
