Control Mechanical Design Engineer - Negotiable. North Aberdeen.I am currently working with a leading downhole drilling company in the recruitment of a Control Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis in North Aberdeen.
On a day to day basis you will be responsible for:
- Supporting ISM manager in the daily execution of requirements for the maintenance and service contract. This will include liaising with 3rd party engineers, offshore operations, planning work creating procedures for this work.
- Designing and implementing equipment modifications
- Seeing project from conception through to testing
- Specify BOM
- Ensuring that the product designed is suitable for various operating environments
Required Skill Sets:
- Experience in subsea control systems
- Software design using 2D and 3D software
- Stress analysis software experience
- Knowledge of industry specifications such as BS, API, DNV
