MySQL DBA -Dublin Contract short term.
My client an online Dynamo is urgent need of a talented and experienced MySQL Engineer to join them on a very short term contract just one month. This could an most probably will be extended, however at this stage could just be a month.
My client is looking for a MySQL DBA (Engineer) that will get involved in designing and implement active-active configured MySQL Standard Edition Drupal database instance; that will also Design and implement master-slave replication for MySQL->MySQL on another network segment. Candidates will also perform general healthcheck on existing MySQL installations. Documentation of designed solutions and training of existing MS SQL database administrators on the design and implementation will be expected.
Successful candidates will have 6 years'+ experience in designing and implementing enterprise-level MySQL solutions at scale and will also have Bash (or equivalent) Scripting experience
This is a great client to work for and with offices in Dublin and London there could always be opportunity to work on future engagements.
