Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:- Create and issue R&D formulas based on proposed formulations for flavor development
- Create and review estimated cost formulas based on prototype formulas, master batch records for pilots along with lab reports
- Review document change requests and submit when necessary
- Review raw material specifications and other related documents for all raw materials
- Keep track of and follow up the raw material evaluation process with reviewing documents, sending out sample for testing, and requesting all documentation
- Maintain good laboratory records and organizes R&D records
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's (B.S.) degree or equivalent and at least 2-3 years of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified
Knowledge, skills, and abilities required:
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English fluently
- Must have excellent computer skills needed including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Must have excellent math skills of basic algebra to calculate figures, amounts, and proportions
- Knowledge and understanding of chemistry, nutrition, and laboratory procedures and terminologies
- 4-7 years Sample Analysis experience required
- Attention to detail
- Excellent record keeping
- Familiar with good documentation practices and good manufacturing practices
