Description
Responsible for monitoring the quality of manufactured products and raw materials through analysis of raw materials and products, reporting results and supporting the Supply Chain with timely response on dispositions. Responsible for entering and following-up non-conformances.- Perform analytical testing as required to determine compliance of raw materials against specification.
- Through additional analytical information obtained from tests, provide appropriate disposition and/or test results as needed to support Supply Chain in a timely manner
- Records data in global Laboratory Information Management System
- Filing of retain samples
- Help maintain cleanliness and order in the QC lab
- Follow all Lab and Site safety and GMP rules. Maintain work area in a neat and organized manner.
- Complete all paperwork correctly and in an "audit ready" manner, following proper scientific method
- Perform other duties as required
B.S. degree in Chemistry, Food science, or related scientific field
- Experience in a flavor/food manufacturing environment preferred
- Strong analytical skills
- Experience with MS Office: Word, Excel and standard MS Office software
- LIMS or SAP experience preferred
