Description
Work on two different projects in the Accounts Payable area. The focus of the work will be in the invoice to pay area and spans to OCR (Optical Character Recognition) based invoice payments process.
SKILLS:
SAP Skills:
- SAP functional resource with extensive hands on SAP configuration expertise in various areas of finance such as GL, AP and Special ledger with focus on Accounts payable.
- Expert in writing functional specification so as to work with technical team (developers) to develop and test new functionality.
- Very good understanding of cross module working of SAP with focus on procurement.
- Exposure to or experience in the development of OCR solution in AP area preferred
- Knowledge of SAP Solution Manager is preferred
- Should have 4-7 years' experience implementing solutions for SAP Finance & Controlling modules.
Non-SAP Skills:
- Should have very good verbal and written communication skills.
- Process knowledge of Accounts payable
- Ability to drive management of execution of small and medium cross-functional projects
- Participates in full delivery life cycle; including planning, requirement and impact analysis, estimation, design, build, test, deploy and support
- Ability to work with cross functional teams (such as Procurement, Sales and distribution, and Manufacturing etc.) and work-streams (Development, Data conversion, Security, Training, Compliance etc.) to coordinate the delivery
- Knowledge of HP's Service Center and Quality Center is preferred
- Ability to work effectively with non-technology business partners
