Description
Software TesterOur client, in the IT-industry, is looking for a motivated software tester to work for 1 year as part of the testing team, investigating, reporting and tracking defects found by automated continuous builds. Depending on your skills you might also be involved in more technical aspects of software quality.
In this temporary position you will have the opportunity to work in an enterprise environment, gain first-hand experience analyzing and decomposing advanced software systems and learn about industry-leading software testing methodologies.
Responsibilities:
- Investigate failures found by automated system integration tests
- Track on-going analysis and on-going problems and follow-up with stakeholders ensuring that the failures are resolved
- Publish monthly project health reports for the engineering teams
- Train and mentor new team members
Requirements:
- Working knowledge of an operating system, preferably UNIX/Linux
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent analytical skills
- Exploratory testing skills a plus
- Industry experience in testing domain is a plus
- Coding or scripting skills a plus
