Description
Manages activities relating to planning, designing, building, and maintaining applications and technology that further employee development. The specific application helps employees identify their most suitable career path so that they can take the actions necessary to get there.PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Perform, manage and document work activities relating to projects
- Assist in creation of documentation for products and services. Use best practices to improve products and services provided to business unit partners, and monitor adherence within Team/Group to standards as defined within the Management Model
- Maintain and enhance engagement with business and IT partners and other stakeholders
- Establish positive team environment by proactively assisting and training less experienced personnel. Provide performance and development feedback as required
- Maintain technical knowledge and business acumen within own discipline or function
- Applies technical expertise to plan, design, build or support required products and processes
- Utilizes understanding of customer's business needs to determine requirements
- Helps other team members learn appropriate theories, practices and principles that relate to their skill set portfolio
- Participate in technological innovation to drive new opportunities and solve complex business problems
- Expected to work under minimal supervision
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline and typically 5 to 8 years relevant experience.
- Important technologies are C#.Net (4.5 framework), HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, SQL Server 2008.
- Proficiency in XML, ASP, SQL & Object Oriented Design.
- Demonstrate a strong self-initiative with the ability to identify areas of improvement with little direction
- Have strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Need to have ability to prioritize and work independently.
- Some BA type work involved - this person will not just be taking specs from others.
- Should know how to make applications compatible with mobile devices from a UI perspective using HTML 5.
- Needs to have experience within reporting and analytics.
- Passionate about collaborative employee related project
- Develop Mobile-aware websites
- Experience with knowledge, training, mentoring and reward programs.
- Design and develop client-side and/or Server Side software for Cloud Solutions
- Strong problem solving and analysis ability.
- Excellent communications skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work with remote project teams
- SiteMinder is a plus
- A passion for helping people would be a major plus too.
