Position: Sr. Network Engineer / Architect
Location: Huston, TX
Job Type: Full Time Permanent
Job Description:
• Expert understanding of TCP/IP and network fundamentals
• Expert understanding of network routing protocols such as BGP, EIGRP, OSPF & RIP
• Experience working with Cisco routers, switches, ASA and wireless products.
• Systems administration (windows) experience a plus
• Experience working with networks that support VoIP (desired)
• Experience working with legacy voice systems (desired)
• Hands-on experience in large complex LAN/WAN environments.
• Expert knowledge and experience with inter-network routing architectures.
• Expert knowledge and experience with network security technologies
• Comfortable in large networks including routing, switching, wireless, and security infrastructure components.
• Configure & troubleshoot network monitoring & optimization solutions like Cisco WCS, Solar winds, etc.
• Proactive monitoring of all remote Networks links and Devices for any alarms
• Document resolved calls for future references and troubleshooting.
