Our client is currently looking for a Senior Ops Engineers. In this position you will work within the DevOps teams Marketing & Manned Channels. The department in which you work is responsible for + / - 55 applications that support our clients' bank Call Center, customer services, offices and service points.
General knowledge / experience:
o HBO / WO working and thinking, with an IT background;
o ITIL foundation
Technical knowledge / experience:
Unix , AIX , Linux (Redhat) and Shell scripting Tomcat (management and configuration, performance testing and tuning Web applications and deployment scripting) Oracle and PostgreSQL Bash scripting Deployment automation ( scripting and Nolio ) Continuous Delivery Agile Scrum

Responsibilities: You will work in a DevOps team composed of Dev and Ops Engineers and report to the Ops Manager. You transport the applications to a production environment and monitor the application to make sure it is available and functioning properly.
Main Responsibilities:
For Ops Engineer relations: building, testing and performing deployment scripts for different environments and deploying applications in Java WebSphere. To build, test and run batch scripts and monitoring; Conducting the various management activities (e.g. resolving incidents, plans to LCM applications and platforms, and administer and validate user access to the application)
Language skills: A good command of Dutch and English spoken and written.
Description of content:
1. Testing
o Build, test and perform, performance testing and production acceptance testing. The performance and production acceptance test is the final check for the custom software for the production platform.
2. Deploy
o Build, test and perform deployment (scripts); deployment process should be done regularly.
o Infrastructure. In disorders you can react quickly to get service with minimal loss to the users - Applications are back open.
o Build, test and perform batch (scripts).
3. Operate
o Resolving incidents and the drafting of user stories in response to structural incidents by the Ops engineer, analyze the root cause of each incident occurred and hold measures to prevent any recurrence.
o The administration and execution of audit and verification of application components in the production configuration database (CMDB)
o Monitoring and managing system tables, batch processes, and application firewalls.
o Audit and verification of the user granted access to the applications and the administration; a good user access process is to ensure that no unauthorized access is possible to the personal or sensitive data.
o a secondary data center location to be best prepared in case there are problems with the primary data center.
