Description
We are currently recruiting Scientists and Engineers for one of the large commercial product manufacturing sites here in the Bay Area. This is not a research and development work, but rather a scientific and technical expertise support role. These are roles involving a high level of interfacing so communication skills are key. Some other important factors are as follows:- Pharmaceutics, pharmaceutical development
- Experience with proteins, absorbtion, characterization etc.
- GMP and manufacturing experience
- Experience with freeze drying
- Experience with formulations
- Process improvements
- Leads cross fucntional teams with varying levels of experience
- Ph.D with commercial experience or lesser degree with exactly relevant work experience
Potential candidates must have the appropriate mindset which would be a flexible person with practical and technical midset. Interest in the machines and processes of manufacturing would be ideal as this will at times be a "get your hands dirty" role. This is not a developing formulations and creating and innovating daily type of position. We would like to see people who are comfortable with the facility from the inside. If you are ready to step away from research and become more acclimated with a final product and what it takes for an organization to maintain it, then we are ready to interview you.
