An investment bank in Chicago is actively seeking a C++/Java Software Engineer to join a front office team of Quantitative Analysts and Traders. This role is ideal for a candidate who is looking to use hands- on development skills to assist with complex trading algorithms and risk models. This is a full time position located in downtown Chicago.The team is working with complex and revenue generating applications, the enigeer will be responsible for:
- Development of multi-threaded application in a C++ and Java environment
- Oversee complex, high priority application from beginning to end
- Daily interaction with Quantitative Analysts and Traders regarding the discussion of risk and trading strategy
- Assist in the modeling of credit and counterparty risk strategies
