The Role: QA tester - Automation - Software tester
Location: Dublin City Centre
Salary: up to €55K + bonus, health insurance & share options

This cloud company are based in Dublin city centre and they are building a new SaaS platform from scratch. They are working with cutting edge technologies and ideologies such as Big Data and DevOps. You will form a part of QA software test team in a company that are passionate about automation .

Your role as their QA software tester :

- Help deliver their next generation platform being responsible for the quality of all aspects of the system.
- You will be validating that the system correctly stores, transforms, and represents data accurately to our customers.
- You role will also involve extensive automated test coverage and you will need to automate all of your tests.
- You will be expected to pro-actively develop new ways of putting the system under pressure so that they can deliver a reliable service.

They need someone who is comfortable taking a lot of initiative, who can clearly communicate their needs and goals, and can explain their decisions articulately.

Skills & Experience Required for the QA Software tester :

- 3years industry experience as a QA Engineer / Tester
- Good knowledge of Test Automation (e.g. with Selenium or Robot Framework )
- Knowledge of test frameworks (e.g. JUnit , TestUnit , RSpec , Cucumber , SinonJS , Karma , qUnit , phantomJS , Jasmine )

Advantageous but not essential:

- Experience working in a software product development environment is preferred, ideally but not necessarily for Software as a Service.
- Databases, both Relational / SQL, and Document/ NOSQL. (e.g. MySQL, MongoDB.)
- Ability to write scripts - e.g. in python, perl, ruby, or bash
- Some knowledge of programming languages and web technologies would be advantageous (Java, Ruby, Javascript/Extjs/JQuery, HTML, CSS, Backbone.js, Require.js.)
- Knowledge of Cloud Infrastructure (e.g. Rackspace or Amazon AWS.) would be useful but is not necessary.
- Knowledge of Software Build tools (such as Jenkins)
