Senior Desktop Technician - 6 months, BathSenior Desktop Technician is required for a 6 month contract based in Bath.
Type: 6 Month Contract
Rate: £150-£250 per day
Location: Bath
Start Date: Jan 2014
Based in Computing Services you will work as part of a small team to deliver a responsive and proficient 3rd line technical support service for a key University. Working across a range of systems and platforms, including mobile devices and technologies, you will provide consistent and high quality technical support, ensuring incidents are recorded and resolved quickly and efficiently, and escalated where necessary.
Qualifications/Experience
Essential:
- Microsoft 7/8 or Apple helpdesk accreditation
- Good technical experience of Microsoft/Apple software and business networking
- Experience in a customer support/service centre environment
- Experience of writing technical documentation
- Experience of working to high quality standards
Desirable:
- Accredited or has experience of working with ITIL at or above Foundation Level
- Technology experience - (Hyper V , Exchange , Active Directory)
- Experience of writing technical documentation
- Customer service awards, training or qualifications
- 2 Years experience of a similar role
