An opportunity has arisen for an experienced and reliable Manager of Corporate Application Service. This is a 6 month fixed term contract where you will be able to reap all of the benefits of a permanent employee. To be successful you will need to have experience managing staff and performance, dealing with internal and external stakeholders.
You will be required to:
- Develop, plan, implement, analyse and monitor effective corporate applications services and solutions to support the business and meet company objectives
- Coordinate all corporate application services reporting requirements to meet the company's short, medium and long term objectives
- Provide leadership and strategic direction to the corporate application services
- Ensure that corporate application services department process and procedures are documented and maintained
- Manage the budget for the corporate application services department
- Ensure the company meets its corporate risk, legal and regulatory obligations Ensure compliance with all ICT governance processes and procedures
- Maintain a work register and priority task spreadsheet for corporate application services
- Ensure staff maintain the release register in accordance with ICT process and procedures
- Provide all required corporate application services reports to the Head of ICT for approval within agreed timelines
- Prepare the corporate application services budget estimates including commentary annually
- Contribute to the monthly ICT reports for the EG and the Board
- Complete performance reviews and monthly 'one on one' meetings with direct reports in accordance with company standards
- Prepare corporate application services reports and returns for lodgement to the relevant
Desirable skills
- Tertiary qualification in IT or business related discipline
- Demonstrated experience leading a team of ICT staff
- Demonstrated experience working in Web and Enterprise solutions
- Working knowledge of Agile methodology
- Able to analyse and present complex ICT data using Microsoft Excel
- Experienced in presenting and educating on ICT projects, especially in relation to Web and Enterprise solutions
- Experience in managing the SDLC
- Previous experience in the management and maintenance of Legacy infrastructure
- Demonstrated knowledge of OSI Layers, IT Architecture and obsolescence mitigation
- PMBoK qualified (desirable)
