Ericsson PS Core Network Support Engineer (Back Office, Tier 2, SGSN/GGSN/MME/USN/UGW)
My client is a market leading telecommunications company with ever expanding projects and market growth worldwide and currently has 2 vacancies.
The following experience is required for a long term rolling contract..
- Second level service problem restoration.
- Experience with Ericsson equipment essential.
- Handle and analyze Trouble Tickets and recommend timely actions and solutions to Trouble Tickets with guidance or supervision, when necessary.
- Handle and execute the Change Request in stipulated time frame.
- Follows up with customer to ensure first call resolution and achieve and deliver 100% customer satisfaction.
- Raise Trouble Tickets towards TAC in consultation.
- Perform second level Preventive Maintenance of nodes.
- Involved in upgrade/updates of live nodes.
- Rollout of New Feature per MOP
- Very good English (spoken & written).
- Graduated or student to College or University within Electrical, Telecommunication or Computer Engineering.
- Above three years of working experiences in Telecommunication industry, preferably experience in Core, Networking fields
- General understanding of Traffic cases. For complimentary products, broad knowledge of Unix operating system is essential.
- Possess skill in the following area: Packet Switch (SGSN/GGSN/MME/USN/UGW).
- With knowledge in IP is an added advantage.
- Ability to learn the working of new nodes which are added in the network.
- Ability to analyze and provide recommendations to Customer Service Requests and OM queries of complex nature.
- Good knowledge of support and supply processes.
