At the behest of one of our multinational clients in the ICT & Financial sector we are actively looking to recruit a skilled SharePoint developer to join the established Software Engineering team. The successful candidate will be involved in the development and support of tactical and strategic ICT projects; this will cover enhancements and change requests from business units.
Role Specifics
You will be responsible for recommending SharePoint solutions based on business requirements using the in-house tools available. You will be responsible for the development of Custom SharePoint web parts, workflows as well as contributing to the development of SharePoint 2010 applications.
Self motivation is key, as the individual will be working in a global team, split across multiple time zones and will be expected to progress tasks within exacting timescales.
Skills Required
We are looking primarily for an experienced developer with strengths in MS development technologies, Visual Studio, .NET, C#, SharePoint API and ideally Active Directory experience. The successful candidate should be comfortable across a wide variety of technical disciplines and show willingness to embrace different technologies. The candidate must have strong communication skills.
Skills Desired
- Microsoft Certified (In SharePoint 2007 or 2010).
- Designing SharePoint farm according to best practice.
- Agile development techniques; JIRA
- Source Control & Build Techniques in the SharePoint Domain.
