I am urgently looking for a JAVA DEVELOPER for 12 months contract in Brussels.
My client is a well known company.
Activity description:
The applicant will help in the development, test and support of the XENTURION product for the following items (non-exhaustive list):
- Software download improvements for national & international partners (on-going)
- TAPA Server for Point Denmark (on-going)
- Technical upgrade in order to become and remain PCI-DSS compliant
- Fill the gap with the competition (campaign management, asset management and reporting tools)
- Dedicated requests from national or international partners expected in 2014 such as
o Migration NL suite to BE and a dynamic parameter system for the RBU1
o New keyset for SERMEPA Spain
o New Keyset for Australia
Environment (HW/SW):
Development: Java development language, Java EE, jboss Application Server (EJB, jboss services), Java data object (JDO/JPA), Web services, Microsoft SQL server and Oracle databases, Java server faces (JSF), ZK, CSS/HTML
Frameworks: Datanucleus, hibernate, Apache mina, Spring, Myfaces, Richfaces, tomahawk, facelets
IDE-tools: Idea intelliJ, Apache maven/ant, trac/teamcity continuous integration server
Unit tests: junit, mockito, dbunit, unitils, jmeter, jprofiler
Skills:
The Java EE development engineer will have the following background:
- Master degree or equivalent in electronic or computer science (Civil or Industrial Engineer)
- 5-6 year experience in software development and programming method
- Good knowledge of Java programming language and its test frameworks
- Knowledge in Linux, Windows and deployment of server based solutions
- Knowledge in network deployment solutions and web portals and security concepts
- Knowledge on the Agile methodology is an asset
- Experience with large-scale information systems is an asset
- Languages:
o Spoken English and Dutch or French
o Writing skills in English
- Able to work autonomously
- Good communication skills
- Able to work together in a team
- Quality and delivery focus
