Description

About us
The Sefaria Project is a non-profit organization dedicated to making digital, free culture editions of Jewish texts and to creating new interactive, open source technology for the future of Jewish learning. We believe this work is of historical significance for the Jewish textual tradition and potentially for other areas of interconnected literature.

We've looking for a full time Software Engineer (our first!) to join the team, accelerate our progress and complement the skill sets of our Co-Founder & CTO, who has been primarily responsible for the work launched on the site to date.

We're a non-profit operating like a startup, with team members across North America and Israel. We're open to remote work, with a strong preference for candidates in San Francisco, Israel, or New York.
