We are looking for a
System Engineer with a strong FX background (m/f)

Your tasks:
- Set-up and configuration of systems (Linux Redhat Servers, Windows Clients, Grid Infrastructure)
- Connectivity to Oracle databases in close collaboration with a Database Support Team
- Set up test environments and connect them to other environments front to back
- Provide solutions for disaster recovery and perform regular tests
- Set up scripts to run scheduled tasks (end of day)
- Set up and maintain trade interfaces (Traiana etc.)
Your qualifications
- Profound experience in financial Foreign Exchange industry and FX platforms (Fenics, Frontarena, Murex)
- Understanding of FX cash and FX option trading and its lifecycles
- Knowledge in Precious Metals and Base Metals trading and lifecycles preferred
- Experience in Front to Back FX banking processes with an emphasis on FX trading and middle office
- Very good German and English skills, spoken and written
- Working knowledge of the concepts of layers, IP and routing, TCP and connections, NAT, firewalls
- Working knowledge of Unix Shells and Perl
- Experience with troubleshooting higher level issues on lower layers by means of e.g. strace, truss, snoop, tcpdump etc.
